This page runs manuscript-guard's audit inside your browser.
The paper you choose is read here and is not uploaded: there is no server behind this
page to receive it.
To see that for yourself
- Once the page says Ready, turn off your network. Then choose your paper: the audit still runs.
- The page's own rules let it send requests only to the address it came from, and to the five reference registries below when you tick the box. Your browser enforces them.
- Every file the page loads is listed with its SHA-256 in files.sha256, and its source is on GitHub.
Reviewing for a journal? Read its policy first: some forbid putting a manuscript under review into any tool, even one that runs on your own computer.
Loading the checker: about 26 MB the first time, nothing after that.
